Bio:
Hello! I am a native English speaker from England, and I teach adults. I specialize in Business English and I teach beginners and intermediates. We can design our lessons together, according to your need, and I am happy to provide structured classes where we use materials from the British Council or a more loose style of conversational English. Its up to you! Whichever way we structure our lessons, know that it will be relaxed and supportive, so that your learning barriers come down! See you!
Moja metoda nauczania:
I have alot of experience in helping people from all over the world learn English, online and in person. I also know how it feels to learn a new language, (I speak Hindi and am learning Slovene) and I can relate to the frustrations and joys! These two things have aided me in having sensitivity towards my students, who have told me that they feel safe in my classes. I believe this is very crucial to creating a learning environment. In my classes I make sure to provide lots of encouragement and actually celebrate what we have learnt, however little or alot it is! These moments of celebration are what count and keep us going on our learning journeys.
Moje doświadczenie w nauczaniu:
I have been teaching English for 9 years, at varying levels from beginners to Advanced, and Business English too! I have mainly taught online, with adult students from all kinds of backgrounds, ages and locations in the world!
Moje pozanauczycielskie "ja":
As I have lived abroad for many years, mainly in Asia and a few years in Slovenia, this experience has given me the benefit of being able to understand people in thier culture and society, and I am deeply interested in this. I am curious about people and where they are from and I am able to bring alot to an English class, because I encourage an exchange on different perspectives and views. Its great fun to discuss a topic from different angles and I can see that students really enjoy this about my classes.
