I have been working as a licensed Canadian English teacher since 2006 but I have also helped individuals as a volunteer teacher and proofreader since the early 1990s.

Since 2005, I have taught extensive hours to different groups of students. These include IELTS students, Canadian elementary, middle, and high school students (up to university entrance level), junior corporate interns and all the way to senior corporate executives of Asia head office operations as well as general conversational English.

My professional background includes having worked in 3 departments in British Columbia Children's Hospital. Later, I also worked as Market Coordinator at Zeneca (now known as AstraZeneca) and Customer Service Associate at AT&T (American telecommunications company). At Zeneca, my key responsibility at the regional head office was preparing sales reports and forecasts for countries in Asia markets which were forwarded to global headquarters in London. At AT&T, my key tasks were to resolve problem tickets for all levels of severity by communicating with clients and telecom partners in Asia, Europe, the Middle East, and North America. I was part of the Asia head office team that directly reported to Asia-Pacific headquarters in Sydney, Australia on a daily basis.
