Hi everyone! Thank you for taking the time to view my profile. My name is Lee-Ann and I originate from South Africa. I am TEFL-qualified and a native English speaker. I am flexible because I understand that all students learn in different ways and at different paces. I see myself as an easy-going, bubbly person. I look forward to teaching you English, should you select me as your teacher/tutor. I will help you improve your English and build your self-confidence. I hope to hear from you soon!

I base my lessons on any topic which suits the students' needs (Breaking English News), which covers vocabulary, reading, grammar and speaking.I have a program which I use, and it consists of songs for teenagers as well as adults to improve their listening skills. I plan the lessons according to the students' time frame, which will be between 30 minutes to an hour (60 minutes.) For the children, I have videos which help them learn grammar, vocabulary and much, much more. I work on the Cambridge Curriculum, which starts at A1 to C 1 lot if not all my students have benefited from the lessons, and I have had a large success rate. All my lesson materials can be shared with the students.

I was a front desk manager for a leading company in my home town after completing school. 20 years down the line, I decided to leave my hometown, Port Elizabeth and relocated to Cape Town, where I became a front office manager for a friend's company. My passion has always been and still is working with people, and for those reasons, I decided to study for my TEFL Certificate. I then went on to join Preply, and here I am today, having successfully helped over 460 students on Preply and many other students through Astex school in Spain.
