Ciao! I’m Giordana, an Italian tutor with two years of experience in teaching Italian as a second language. I graduated in Languages and Cultural Mediation and hold several language certifications (Spanish, Portuguese, English). I understand the challenges of learning a language, I know what it means to be a student and what are the best strategies for learning. I have two years of experience as an Italian language tutor, working with students of all ages and backgrounds, from those preparing for university exams, traveling, or professional purposes. In addition to theory and grammar lessons, I integrate dynamic activities such as texts on general culture (history, cinema, music), debates on current topics, and role-playing exercises. I also make use of a variety of books and tailored materials to support each student’s learning. Lessons are fully adaptable to the student’s needs—conversation, grammar, writing, listening—all within a relaxed and informal environment where the student’s interests are always at the center.

I am a creative and curious professional with a degree in languages and extensive international experience, having lived and worked in countries such as Austria, Spain, Brazil, and Peru. These experiences allowed me to engage with diverse cultures and people, and taught me that the most important aspects of language learning are humility, active listening, practice, and dedication. Although I deepened my knowledge academically, my travels were instrumental in shaping my practical understanding of languages. In my free time, I enjoy painting, dancing, playing the piano, and photography. Literature and history are two of my greatest passions, and I bring this enthusiasm into my teaching by integrating cultural insights, history, authors, films, and music alongside grammar and exercises, helping students experience the richness of the Italian language.
