Learning English may be difficult, but it doesn't have to be boring! I specialise in keeping students of all ages engaged through games and other fun student-focused activities. With an emphasis on speaking and listening and a strict no-translation policy, my students should be conversing easily in no time!

I like to use a lot of speaking and listening games and activities as well as conversation practice. Pronunciation is a main focus in my lessons, and I use the book 'Pronunciation in Use'. We will also use simple but real English-language materials, including videos and songs as well as short stories and news articles.

I have taught English as a Second Language for three years in Hanoi, Vietnam. I spent two years at a language centre teaching children and adults of all ages and levels, and one year teaching private lessons and tutoring children and adults one-on-one.

I studied archaeology at university and have completed a master's degree in journalism, so I am well versed in scientific, academic, and professional English. I worked for three years in communications and administration as well as IT support, where I discovered my love of computers and technology.
