Since starting my teaching journey in 2000, I've had the privilege of working with students aged 5 to 65 across every imaginable setting—colleges, universities, language schools, and international corporations, both online and in-person. My students have come from a wide variety of professional, ethnic, and cultural backgrounds, making my teaching experience incredibly diverse. I've immigrated three times — finally bringing me to Canada, where I've been thriving in multicultural Toronto since 2012. I'm also a parent of bilingual twins, so I know firsthand how language develops (and how fun and chaotic it can be!). Plus, I have a Ph.D. in Linguistics, which sounds fancy but really just means I know a few secrets about how language works and how to get you speaking confidently.
