My teaching style is laid back and fun while focused on practicing real conversational English. I love to have "deep talks" with my students. I am not a strict teacher but rather chill, so you can talk with me if you prefer my chill New York persona ^_^ Language is alive and evolving. By participating in that language, we keep it alive. There is no end to what we can learn and create, but after studying for a while you will be able to say you are fluent ^_^

I have over 8 years experience working as an English teacher in Asia. I have taught Kindergarten, Primary, Middle School, High School, and adults, both in schools and in online ESL classes. I've taught 1-1 classes and rooms filled with 50+ students and everything in between. My teaching experience includes international programs in Thailand teaching elite high school students. I've taught many subjects including English, primary math and science, music (rock band clubs), accounting, business English for logistics, IELTS speaking and writing prep, sound design, religious studies, and history. Of course, my focus is on traditional English classes and ESL where the primary focus is always on conversation, grammar, IELTS and TOEFL test prep, and writing skills.

I am also a web content writer. I have 18 years experience playing and performing guitar and bass guitar as well as singing. I trained Jiu Jitsu for about 20 years, so I love martial arts and Eastern philosophy. I sometimes practice yoga. I like creative writing on my blog. I have over 10 years experience as an electronic music producer. I was a DJ in college for a little while. I really enjoying playing Frisbee on the beach. I love to play computer games, especially RPGs. I recently developed an interest in watching Anime. I am also pretty good at beatboxing! My coolest travel experience was hiking up Mt. Kilimanjaro in Africa.
