Moja metoda nauczania:
My students can expect to learn in a fun, warm, friendly and patient environment. I offer General everyday English including but not limited to TOEFL, Business, Speaking, Writing, Grammar, Vocabulary. The overarching aim of my teaching style is to boost your confidence, expand your vocabulary and improve your overall fluency, all while working towards achieving your goals. My teaching style incorporates conversational English, to give you as much practice as you need and boost your confidence in speaking English. Conversational English also provides the platform through which to correct your pronunciation as well as to expand your vocabulary. I strive to improve your fluency and boost the scope of your spoken skills. Besides conversing, we cover a lot of phrasal verbs, idioms, synonyms and antonyms, topic-specific exercises ans use of everyday English exercises, among others. We also look at the most common mistakes learners of English often makeand false friends where they apply to help you see why they are wrong and how to avoid repeating them. Where there’s the need, we may also look at grammar, which is really dictated by each student’s strengths and weaknesses. Overall, I'm a flexible teacher who's also happy to accommodate individual student requests :)
Moje doświadczenie w nauczaniu:
I’m a passionate, qualified English teacher with over seven years of teaching experience. I had mainly worked as a private tutor until 2020, when I started teaching English remotely to students around the world. Most of the students I have taught have been from Spain and Italy, although some have been from Colombia, Finland, Morocco and Finland. Over the years, I’ve taught varying ages, from children as young as 10 through to adults. I’ve also taught learners with diverse goals and needs, including but not limited to those who need help preparing for exams or a job interview, those who need English for work, while some have requested a more holistic learning experience including all aspects of language acquisition. No challenge is too big for me! I strive to tailor my teaching style to each student, their specific needs and goals and can confidently teach various aspects of English, including grammar, writing, Business English, General English, speaking and conversational skills.
Moje pozanauczycielskie "ja":
I have also worked as a news writer/translator/editor as well as written and proofread for a couple of local publications. I have worked for local and international clients as an Editing Consultant. I’m also the proud owner of a blog called YourBotswana, a platform that celebrates Botswana’s rich culture, its people and tourism activities. While living in the UK, I worked for Pearson (arguably the UK’s largest and most recognisable awarding body) for just over seven years. I'm an avid reader and particularly enjoy conspiracy theories and autobiographies. I love interacting with people from all walks of life and different cultures, like travelling and have a special penchant for safari. I love languages, understand a little French and Italian, and have recently taken a huge interest in Spanish. For this reason, I like to teach others English and because I've been where they are, I'm a passionate but very patient teacher.
