Moje doświadczenie w nauczaniu:
Beside some informal lessons of Italian I did while I was living in South America, in 2019 I obtained my DITALS II Level Certification for teaching Italian as a Foreign Language, after which I have taught Italian for more than 3 years (starting in 2021) at Reggio University For Foreigners, at Messina state University and into a public primary school in Calabria. To date, I have accumulated approximately 1,130 hours of formal teaching experience in Italian to foreign students of any age (5-80), coming from some 67 different countries. While teaching I usually adopt the so-called Direct method for pupils who's mother tongue is similar to Italian, and the so-called Humanistic method for non-neo-Latin native speakers. During lessons I focus mostly on conversation, organising activities (planed according to non-formal education) which help to actively use the language; furthermore I consider students' interests and needs so to focus more on writing/grammar in case or to specific topics.
Moje pozanauczycielskie "ja":
I got a degree in Environmental Science and, using Spanish language, a Master’s degree in History of Science. My job experience includes researching at university (in Spain), tour guiding (in Chile and Estonia), speaking at university (in Chile), support at primary school (in Italy), museum guiding (in Italy), text writing and proof-reading (in Italy). Being an active volunteer in several NGOs (such as UNESCO Clubs) I participated at 62 international seminars and have travelled in some 55 countries so I fluently speak English, which my wife and I also use to comunicate between us. Recently I passed (as a not-winner) a concours for teaching History and Philosophy at public school. I am a fan of Music, Arts, Geography, and an amateur writer: 10 years ago I wrote a book regarding the history of Reggio which was published by a local government and more books (short novels included) are yet to be published.
